Cultivation

Interested in finding out how we grow our product? Vermeulen Tuinbouw focuses on strawberry production. Our head office is situated in Oosteind, but the greenhouses in which our strawberries are grown are in Den Hout, Made and Oosteind. We start filling pots with substrate in July, before proceeding with planting in August. The picking process gets underway at the end of September and is repeated in April after the winter dormancy period. Grubbing up goes ahead in June and the annual cultivation cycle recommences in July.
